2018 Get NY Moving…. Highlighting Our Healthy Lifestyle and New York State

Hey Pashley Polar Bears!!

Tell us what you liked best about our Get NY Moving Physical Education/Health lesson?

A H U G E thank you to Senator James Tedisco for visiting us, for this special lesson.  He participated in our instant activity, helped judge our awesome team activities AND jogged through New York State. Phew!  We got a lot out of his stories of his participation in sports.  Wow, he was a GREAT basketball player. **And probably still is 🙂

What was your favorite part of this lesson?

What is Your Favorite Season to EXERCISE?

Every year I ask a fitness/nutrition based question to our staff at Pashley. I then create a huge chart for the students to read and interpret.  This years question was…

“What is your favorite season to exercise in?”

Pashley students LOVE finding their teachers and learning how they stay active during their favorite season.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SEASON TO EXERCISE IN?

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE ACTIVITY TO DO IN THAT SEASON?

#NGWSD 2018 #GIRLPOWER

Such a #GIRLPOWER day!

Thank you to Kyoko Ina for taking the time to visit our school   We loved hearing about your experiences in sports, figure skating and especially at the Olympics! You shared that you must have commitment, trust in your pairs’ partner, and some sacrifices along the way. You also encouraged us to “Get Up” when we fall or fail. Keep trying…and never give up.

Our Pashley students asked question after question. It was a fantastic day in PE. We are excited to celebrate you today along with all the girls and women so dedicated to their sport.  #GIRLPOWER   #OLYMPIAN
